Lecture: Constantin Guys as a source of inspiration for Helene Schjefbeck

The lecture focuses on Helene Schjerfbeck's interest for the French artist Constantin Guys. Schjerfbeck made several works inspired by Guys, and signed these d'après Guys. The lecture also touches upon Schjerfbeck's later life, her interest for fashion, her artistic development and her longing for Paris.

The lecture is given by Sue Cedercreutz-Suhonen, who previously worked as Head Guide at Villa Gyllenberg for several years. She has specialized on writing and speaking about Helene Schjerfbeck and her art. The lecture is in Swedish.
