Lecture: presentation of the new artworks that were bought to the Gyllenberg collection in May 2024

This lecture is a presentation of the three latest additions to the Gyllenberg collection. Two of the paintings, Helene Schjerfbeck's Lady in red and black, ca. 1930, oil on canvas and Verner Thomé's Portrait of Dora Estlander, 1910, oil on canvas, were bought via Galerie Donner in Helsinki. The third piece, Helene Schjerfbeck's The Fleeing Countess, 1917, charcoal, watercolour and gouache on paper, was purchased from a private collection. All pieces were bought in may 2024.

The lecture will be held in Finnish by Villa Gyllenberg's Chief Curator Lotta Nylund.
