Panel discussion: Memory and brain health

A panel discussion about memory and brain health, in Finnish. Participants are Hasse Karlsson, Jari Jokiluhta and Magdalena Åberg. Facilitated by Siiri Oinonen, Villa Gyllenberg. The discussion will be in Finnish.

Jari Jokiluhta is a nurse and works for Alzheimer’s Association of Helsinki since 1996.

Professor Hasse Karlsson is a psychiatrist and professor of integrative neuroscience and psychiatry at University of Turku. He is also founder of the FinnBrain cohort.

Magdalena Åberg (b. 1972), curator of the exhibition Morbus, paints in oil and writes in the form of poetry and essays, often in the liminal space where the scientific and the poetic meet. She has portrayed her mother’s Alzheimer’s disease in her art.
