Lecture: French post-impressionism in the 1930s – 1950s and Finland

A lecture about the influence of French post-impressionism, also known as poetic realism, in the mid-20^th century and its impact on Finnish art. Of Finnish artists especially Tove Jansson, Sam Vanni and Yngve Bäck were interested in this colorful movement. The lecture is in Finnish, and it will be held by Ville Lukkarinen, professor of Art History.
