Lecture: Stories in paintings

A lecture about paintings depicting everyday moments, parties and Kalevala motifs in the collection of the Sampo Group. Paintings by Robert Wilhelm Ekman, Akseli Gallen-Kallela, August Uotila, Elin Danielson-Gambogi and Helene Schjerfbeck offer views into 19th century life as well as national stories and the history of art. 

The lecture is given by Lotta Nylund, Villa Gyllenberg's Chief Curator and curator of the exhibition. The lecture will be held in Finnish.
