Guided tours and group visits

Guided tours

Book a guided tour by e-mailing villa(at)gyllenbergs.fi. 
Groups with a guided tour can visit the museum also outside the opening hours.  

Please mention the following when you book a tour:

• the date and time
• number of participants
• language preference
• name of group and contact person, as well as contact information of contact person
• possible request about the tour's focus (e.g. the house museum or an ongoing exhibition)
• payment method and possible billing information
• possible request of using the services of the café (NB! The café can only take bookings of max 15 pax during opening hours)

Please book your tour well ahead of your visit, preferably at least two weeks before the requested date and time. 

Price list for guided tours

Weekdays (Mon-Fri): 80 €/tour
Weekends (Sat-Sun): 110 €/tour
School and student groups: 40 €/tour
Extra hour (visits longer than 2 hours): 50 €/h Mon-Fri, 100 €/h Sat-Sun.

In addition to the tour fee we charge the entrance fees as follows: 12 € adults, 10 € seniors/students, 0 € under 18-year-olds/with the Museum Card/ICOM/unemployed/press card. 
Free entrance to the group leader. 
We recommend payments by card or cash on site. 
A service fee of 10 € will be added to invoices.

The price for student groups also apply for university students.

Max. 30 persons per group, the duration of a tour is normally 45-60 minutes.
The maximum amount of pupils aged 10-18 years is 20 pupils/group, and 15 pupils/group for children under 10 years.

Please confirm the number of participants a week before your visit. 
Cancellation is due one month before a confirmed visit. Later cancellations will be charged of the tour fee + service fee. 

Free tours

Free guided tours in Finnish on Wed, Thu, Sat and Sun at 13.00
Free guided tours in Swedish on Sun at 14.00. 

In the summer of 2026 free garden tours in Finnish at 15.00 on Saturdays from 27th of June to 22nd of August. 

The free tours require no registration and are included in the museum's entrance ticket.

Groups

We recommend that groups book a guided tour, but it is of course OK to visit the museum without a guide. We wish that also groups that visit the museum without a guided tour give us a heads-up of their arrival by e-mailing villa(at)gyllenbergs.fi. 

Villa Gyllenberg's own staff gives the guided tours at our museum and we ask travel agencies and organizers of group visits to respect this.
